This is a great site, Suzanne! Many useful and interesting and inspiring words and links for those of us with FM/ME (others too). Really enjoy and appreciate your eclectic approach. Thank you! I love it
Hi I live in Canada, a little town called Bradford, just north of Toronto in the province of Ontario. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in February 2007. And right now not coping well. Way too much stress in my life these days. I have passed this site to my FMily in the USA. May we all find peace and discover what it is like to be painfree!
Hi from Canada.. was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over 8 years ago.. my life came literally to a stop, but fortunately my husband was very supportive. Each day for some time seemed to be filled with "nothing" , no energy, no fun, just tired and endless feeling. Gradually I tried a few things... slowly, and eventually accepted the fact of doing what I could ( even if it takes much longer to do so) and taking each day "One at at Time" .. Now I do not think of it as often, except when I do too much, maybe more company visiting, or trips with others dictating the hours, or eating the wrong foods too often. On the whole I am feeling much better since a move to the country, ( hubby retiring from the city job) and generally a much slower pace in my life... Lord willing I will continue to gain my strength ..still remembering that nothing has to be done NOW, and to enjoy LIFE along the way.
I have FM and my sister has CF.We live with these diseases as do so many others.
I thank you sister for bringing this site to my attention. This is wonderful and I send my prayers to everyone. Love and hugs.
Hello! My name is Eleanor, I am 47 and have had ME for five years and three months. I am Roman Catholic and I think this is a wonderful idea. I was born in Ireland but now live in Wales, UK. I receive no treatment or support from the medical services here, so only God can help me and I pray daily that He will.
